My Life as a Forensic Chemist
In Greenville we have several disciplines in which we provide services. They are Drug Analysis, Ballistics Comparison and soon to be added DNA Analysis. As a Principal Criminalist, it is my job to manage the laboratory. I started in the lab on July 22, 1991 in Drug Analysis. From 2003 to 2006 I also performed Gunshot Residue Analysis (GSR) using a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). I have testified 148 times as an expert witness in Drug Analysis and 3 times in GSR Analysis. The links below will give you more information about specific sections of the Greenville Lab as well as Document Analysis, Gunshot Residue Analysis and Fire Debris Analysis (Arson). We no longer provide services in these three fields.

If you have any questions or want more details about something please e-mail me. The following link is for the American Academy of Forensic Sciences page. It is, in my opinion, the best single source for information and it has a good many links to other organizations as well.
